一個建築的誕生，往往以紙筆作為發想的開端，而一個設計的過程，更是透過許多構思與辯證而成的。作為一個揉合藝術與科學的建築師，總帶給人一種神秘、低調的形象，大眾雖能透過身體的感受體驗建築師所創造的空間，卻難以藉由任何形式認識設計發展的脈絡與過程。
展覽搜羅18位臺灣建築師珍藏的設計手稿，一幅幅手繪圖面，呈現出設計發展的過程，並藉由拍攝建築師們的工作桌面，看見所有創意的產地。透過手稿、草圖的翻閱與瀏覽，打開大眾對於建築師的好奇心，更引發對於設計過程的認識與對話。
People are always curious about how architects combine art and science, and how designs are built from ideas and drawings. Except for physical experiences, it is often more difficult for the public to learn about design contexts and processes.
